These Protea sculptures are made from repurposed objects such as old street cleaning brushes and broken bins removed from the Bellville Public Transport Interchange that were replaced with new, separation at source bins.

A substantial portion of the initial phase of the better. bellville. together. placemaking initiatives were launched and trialled at the Bellville PTI. With approximately 300,000 passenger trips occurring daily through the PTI, it represents a high-impact area.
