The artworks are tailored to their locations, using specific characters to represent the activities typical of each area. In this way, they are both site-specific and resonate with the community.
Additionally, these artworks are designed to harmoniously incorporate architectural elements of their settings, such as columns, enhancing their connection to the space.

The selection of mural locations in Bellville was strategic, focusing on maximising impact. Sites were chosen for their visibility along major vehicular and pedestrian routes, the nature of relationships with property owners, and their proximity to the Central Business District (CBD), which already boasts various public artworks.
