The better. bellville. together. team – worked with the public and project partners to collect materials at the Bellville publica transport intersection (PTI) to create a total of four works of public art installed at the PTI during 2023.

Beautifying spaces with a unique aesthetic feel that continues throughout the identified renewed spaces in Bellville will continue.

The art creates a sense of ownership and pride in the public spaces.

Job creation for those coming off the streets / work readiness programmes – (prevalent in Bellville), step up entrepreneurship.

Identifying waste materials not adding value and developing the environment for the new products to be sold.

Creating an access to market for sustainable and affordable alternative products / packaging (to identified non-recyclable materials).
